Overthinking?
Recognize overthinking as a sign that the ego-mind thinks uncomfortable feelings are problems to be solved. We feel our feelings through being embodied. When we don’t want to feel something we escape them, often, by leaving the body and going into thinking. We escape to the mind. The more the ego-mind is in fear of feelings, it will overdrive the overthinking as a defense to those feelings.
So to pull the energy source (or plug) on this:
Awareness 👉 Remember there’s nothing to fix 👉 Drop into body 👉 Feel without commentary
The moment you are aware of the overthinking, realize there is nothing to fix, drop into your body, follow the breath and feel whatever you feel in your body, with no commentary. This brings you into the present and this is where life actually is happening. Life knows what to do with those feelings. Life can only move through us when we’re present enough to feel it. So just feel and watch transformation happen. Rinse and repeat.
